A long time coming

2010

First start line.

André starts racing bikes in triathlons and discovers how competition sharpens everything.

2015

Kingdom is born.

Launch of Kingdom, a first bike company focused on single‑speed builds and learning the craft of running a brand.

2017-2018

First shop.

Kingdom runs a physical shop in Tempe, AZ, turning ideas into everyday work on real bikes.

2018

From tri to fixed.

Kingdom closes. André leaves triathlon behind and starts racing fixed‑gear crits around the world.

2022

Back to the US.

Return to the United States, training with the goal of upgrading to Category 1 in USAC road racing.

Late 2023

Domestic Elite & new idea.

Joining Velovit Elite and, a few months later, sketching the first ideas that would become Oak.

2024

Oak takes shape.

Twilight samples arrive. Oak is legally founded in April, and sales begin later that summer.

September 2024

First warehouse.

Lease signed on our first warehouse; part‑time mechanics join and Oak starts to feel like a small racing operation.

2025

Results and recognition.

Sponsored athletes win races across the country, and Oak becomes a name riders start to recognize nationwide.

Late 2025

Investment and simplification.

We take on investment to grow, and at the same time deliberately downsize—closing the warehouse and moving back to the garage to focus and reset.

January 2026

Choosing Marca SL

We chose a factory to produce our first ever proprietary bike mold. This is also when the design process for this started.

2026 and beyond

What's next?

New website and (cycling) e-commerce concept store launches in April. Marca SL will be launched on July 11. The first Oak Travel trip and clubhouse opening in Italy follow, aiming for September 2026/ March 2027.
